1. About FBPartPicker
FBPartPicker (the “service”) is a hobbyist tool that helps you browse fingerboard products from third-party shops, assemble parts into saved builds, and share those builds with other people. Using the service means you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts
You can use the service without an account. Creating an account (currently via Google, Discord, or Spotify OAuth) lets you save builds, like other people's builds, and curate favorite lists. You are responsible for everything that happens on your account, and you must keep access to the linked OAuth identity secure.
You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. Account deletion permanently removes your saved builds, likes, favorites, profile picture, and username from our database.
3. User content
Builds, build names, favorite lists, and profile fields you create are your content. By saving them as public, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display them to other visitors of the service. We don't claim ownership of your content and you can delete it at any time.
Don't use the service to upload anything illegal, infringing, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that impersonates someone else. We may remove content or accounts that violate these rules at our discretion.
4. Third-party shops and product data
Product names, descriptions, prices, images, and stock information shown on the service are sourced from third-party fingerboarding shops (such as Teak Tuning, DeliDecks, Dynamic Fingerboards, and Caramel Fingerboards). We are not affiliated with these shops, do not sell anything ourselves, and don't earn commissions on your purchases. Pricing and availability shown here is a snapshot from the most recent scrape and may be wrong or out of date — confirm everything on the merchant's own site before buying.
5. Service availability
The service is provided “as is” with no uptime guarantee. We may change features, pause the service, or shut it down at any time without notice. We'll make a reasonable effort to give existing users a way to export or delete their data before any permanent shutdown.
6. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for direct damages is capped at the amount you paid to use the service in the 12 months preceding the claim — currently $0.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service materially changes. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the new terms.
8. Contact
Questions or content removal requests can be sent to the maintainer via the project's public repository or the contact email listed there.
